What is Zhawenim?

Zhawenim, which is pronounced SHO (but with a z) WEN NIM. It is the Aanishinaabe word for compassion, unconditional love, and loving kindness. It can also mean to show mercy or pity or to care deeply. This is the intention behind my massage practice. I believe everyone has the right to feel safe, accepted and respected when seeing a healthcare professional. I also want my clients to feel truly cared for and leave the office feeling less pain as well as see long term progress. This is the core of who I am, a helper. A true healer does not take the power out of the hands of the patient, but is here to remind you of the ability you have to heal yourself. My job is to educate both the client and myself of tools and knowledge to facilitate this. Thank you for stopping by my page, I hope to have the pleasure of assisting you soon. Miigwetch!
