Stefanie Wood (she/her) has been practicing Massage Therapy full time since attaining her diploma from Mohawk College in Hamilton in 2017. Stefanie has been a Holistic Esthetician and Natural Healthcare Practitioner since 2008. Stefanie has travelled extensively and worked in some of Ontario’s top spas and wellness clinics. She has had the pleasure to work alongside many health practitioners such as Naturopathic Doctors, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, MD’s and Chinese Medicine Doctors. Stefanie has also worked in film production offering On-Set Massage and has worked with actors such as Michael Pere, James Caan, Daniel Baldwin, Margot Kidder, Laurie Fortier and Marc Blucas. Stefanie has also had the pleasure of hosting public speaking workshops on the topics of Natural beauty for adolescents, Seaweed for cell repair, Detoxification, Healing with nutrition, as well as Homemade skincare.

Stefanie is a member of the Mississaugi First Nation in Northern Ontario. Sturgeon Fish Clan. Daughter of a Sixties Scoop adoptee, and Granddaughter of a residential school survivor (St. Joseph’s girls school, Spanish ON). Stefanie has experienced the effects of Intergenerational Trauma first-hand and has been devoted to healing her whole life. Empathic and intuitive she has a natural affinity to helping others find health and happiness. She now combines her knowledge with current studies in Indigenous traditional medicine in order to provide her clients with the most up to date, holistic healing practices and research so that clients can be empowered to choose the actions that create the highest possible outcomes.

Stefanie is currently enrolled in full time studies at Trent University for Indigenous Studies B.A Hon. She is a lifelong learner and hopes to practice Indigenous Traditional Medicine and work more in-depth with trauma, addictions and mental health using the wisdom of the past. She enjoys exploring her new home of Peterborough, foraging wild plants, camping, learning Indigenous crafting skills and spending time with her cats Jellybean and Smokey Robinson.
